UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) has been named to the 2016 Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI NA) and the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI W) for the 18th consecutive year.

UnitedHealth Group was recognized as among the leading companies worldwide for economic, environmental and social sustainability performance that supports business value and long-term financial performance. The company ranked among the highest of its peers in the Health Care Providers & Services sector, increasing from the 97th percentile to the 98th percentile. The company ranked in the 90th percentile or above in 12 of 19 individual categories in the Health Care Providers & Services sector including corporate citizenship and philanthropy, corporate governance, operational eco-efficiency, service to patients and codes of business conduct.
