Director Shareholdings
Universe Group plc (UNG.L) has been informed that on
11th January 2012 Stephen McLeod, Chief Executive Officer,
purchased 1.3 million ordinary shares of 5p each in the
Company ('Ordinary Shares') and Robert Goddard,
Chairman, purchased 700,000 Ordinary Shares, both purchases
at a price of 1.4p per share. Following these
transactions, Stephen McLeod now holds 1.3 million Ordinary
Shares and Robert Goddard now holds 700,000 Ordinary Shares,
representing approximately 1.1 per cent. and 0.6 per cent.
respectively of the Company's issued share capital.
