Vienna, April 9th 2015 +++ update software AG, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of premium CRM systems, enhances its core product update.CRM with new features, introducing Service Pack 3. Among them are an interactive marketing calendar as well as a configurator for quotes and products, which was integrated in collaboration with Sofon Deutschland GmbH.

To avoid this and to facilitate the efficient use of customer data to create value and provide end customers with a positive experience, CRM solutions need to perfectly manage company-specific processes. This is why update software AG continuously develop their product portfolio, including the CRM software's new Service Pack 3.0. Service Pack 3.0 provides update customers with new key features:

  • Automated call planning for all industries: Developed for life science, this tool is now also available for manufacturing, construction as well as finance and enables field staff to plan their routes efficiently and based on data, following individual or pre-set criteria. One of the improvements the current Service Pack offers is a new calendar view.
  • Well laid-out Opp-Buying-Center Wall: Sales staff get a good overview of all contributors within a sales project, using a graphic interface. This allows an easy grasp of all stakeholders and their attitude regarding the project, which makes it easier to assess sales potential.
  • Efficient Sales Planning: Sales staff in manufacturing and construction can plan their activities down to individual product level even more efficiently. Based on previous activities, this feature offers full view of all sales activities across teams while also facilitating the adjustment of targets.
  • Interactive Marketing Calendar: Supports users to manage and organize their marketing planning through the year directly via CRM, simply by drag and drop.
  • Advanced Role Allocation for the construction industry: End customers play an ever more important part in B2B. The new Private Customer role allocation concept accommodates this development, facilitating the entry and management of end customer data, such as that of tenants or home buyers, in CRM as contributors to the project.
Time efficient: seamless integration of the Sofon product configurator

Together with update's new technology partner Sofon, the seamless integration of a powerful quoting and product configurator into update.CRM's online version was realized, allowing sales staff to compile and calculate even highly complex product quotes directly from the CRM and on the spot while with the customer. A powerful interface facilitates direct data exchange between the systems and makes time-consuming checks with back-office or double data entries a thing of the past.
