Vienna, April 24, 2013 +++ German medicine manufacturer Pascoe Naturmedizin, based in Giessen, has chosen update's mobile CRM solution CRM.pad, a native CRM app developed specifically for the iPad. CRM.pad is the latest addition to Pascoe's CRM solution from Vienna-based update software AG, leading European provider of CRM solutions. 20 field reps will now be using the CRM system on their iPads in addition to the approximately 130 users already working with the web-based update solution in Pascoe's sales and marketing team. As a native app, update CRM.pad not only fully exploits the iPad's characteristic user-friendliness, but also works offline. The standard version of update's CRM solution already includes a large number of industry processes used by the natural medicine manufacturer. "We ended up choosing update's solution again because CRM.pad integrates seamlessly with our existing web-based update CRM solution", explains Burkhard Runtsch, head of Organization, IT and Logistics at Pascoe Naturmedizin. "For example, with CRM.pad, we can store information on the distribution of samples and customers can sign for them on the iPad, speeding up the process and making it more flexible. Our longstanding experience of working with update also sealed the deal."
With customers in more than 30 countries, the German family-owned company Pascoe has been known for top quality in natural medicine for more over 100 years. The company's natural healing portfolio includes approximately 200 medicines ranging from homeopathic complex remedies and herbal medicines to nutritional supplements and vitamin preparations. In October 2012, a three-month pilot project involving four participants with varying levels of IT experience was launched to introduce the new CRM.pad solution. The app has been in live use at Pascoe since January 2013. As the first pharmaceutical company to earn Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification, Pascoe is working towards achieving a sustainable, paper-free work environment, a goal that CRM.pad can help Pascoe achieve. "update's CRM.pad will better support our sales representatives' processes, and we anticipate reducing up to 80% of time spent on administrative activities", explains Burkhard Runtsch, head of Organization, IT and Logistics at Pascoe Naturmedizin. "We also wanted to equip our sales representatives with state-of-the-art tools for their customer visits."
