Izhorskiye Zavody, a part of OMZ Group, delivered second VVER-1200 reactor vessel for Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant (NNPP-2) to the customer.

Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant was put into operation in 1964 and became the first station with VVER reactor system, which construction was recognized as one of the safest in the world. Each of going NNPP reactors is a principal prototype of serial power reactors of water-moderated water-cooled type: VVER-440 and VVER-1000 produced by Izhorskiye Zavody.
