Validus Holdings, Ltd. : Announces Senior Management Promotions at Validus Reinsurance, Ltd.

Validus Holdings, Ltd. (NYSE: VR) today announced a number of senior
management promotions at Validus Reinsurance, Ltd. ("Validus Re").
Kean D. Driscoll, currently Chief Underwriting Officer of Validus Re,
has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Validus Re.
Jeff M. Clements, currently Head of U.S. Property and Specialty
underwriting at Validus Re has been appointed Chief Underwriting Officer.
Paul D. Manders, currently Executive Vice President of Marine
Underwriting at Validus Re will also now be Head of Specialty
Underwriting.
Chris L. Silvester, currently Senior Vice President of U.S. Property
Underwriting at Validus Re has been promoted to Executive Vice President
and Head of U.S. Property Underwriting.
Ed Noonan, Chairman and CEO of Validus Holdings, Ltd, commented on the

subject to approval by the Bermuda Department of Immigration.
