Valora announces successful outsourcing of its goods logistics operations for Retail Switzerland

Valora has entered into a number of new agreements with 7Days Media Services GmbH. These cover the provision of warehousing and transport services to Valora Retail and the sale of the operational infrastructure used in these processes.

Under the new agreements, Valora's collaboration with 7Days Media Services, which has been in effect since the latter's purchase of Valora's press-wholesaling and press-logistics operations on July 31, 2014, will now be extended to include goods logistics. By divesting itself of these warehousing and transport services which it has hitherto operated itself, Valora is further reducing the complexity of its Group activities.

Both parties have agreed not to disclose the price of this transaction. The employees concerned will be reassigned to 7Days Media Services GmbH, thus ensuring a smooth transition.
