VAT : Media release - on Block Sale of VAT Shares by Capvis

VAT Group AG ("VAT") has been informed that the Capvis funds, advised by Capvis Equity Partners AG ("Capvis"), yesterday after close of trading on SIX Swiss Exchange and overnight through an accelerated book-building offering have placed with predominately institutional investors a total of 1,435,188 VAT shares (representing their entire remaining holding of 4.78% of VAT's share capital) at an offer price of CHF 120 per share. Accordingly, upon settlement of the placement, the Capvis funds will no longer hold any VAT shares. The free float of VAT shares, which according to SIX Swiss Exchange is presently approximately 72.2%, will increase to approximately 77.0%.
