Vectren encourages income-eligible customers to sign up for energy assistance, home weatherization programs

Dayton, Ohio - As the winter heating season approaches, Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio (Vectren) encourages its income-eligible customers to take action before the brunt of winter heating season hits by applying for federal/state energy assistance and Vectren's home weatherization programs.
"Local community action agencies are now scheduling appointments, and customers who qualify should contact these agencies to begin applying early for heating assistance." said Colleen Ryan, president of Vectren Energy Delivery-Ohio. "Furthermore, homeowners can apply for Vectren home weatherization initiative through the Community Action Partnership of the Greater Dayton Area - a family of four with a household income of $70,000 qualifies for these free services."
