Vectren Energy Delivery of Indiana - North union employees ratify new labor agreement

Evansville, Ind. - Vectren Corporation's subsidiary, Vectren Energy Delivery of Indiana - North (Vectren), has learned union membership voted to ratify the labor agreement between Vectren and IBEW Local 1393 and Steelworker Locals 12213 and 7441 as of June 16, 2017. As a result of the efforts of all involved, this new agreement was finalized several months in advance of the December 1 expiration date for the existing agreement.

"We are pleased our colleagues voted to approve the contract," said Vectren's Senior Vice President of Utility Operations & President Vectren Utility Holdings, Inc. (VUHI) Jon Luttrell. "The willingness of all involved to work together to reach this agreement well in advance of the contract's expiration date demonstrates the continuing commitment to maintain a productive partnership between the company and its colleagues and the continued provision of reliable and safe service for our customers."
