Veidekke Entreprenør in Follo and Østfold has signed contracts worth NOK 330 million excluding VAT in the past couple of months, and has several other interesting contracts in the pipeline. Now it is consolidating activities in Follo and Østfold in one district with offices at Ås. "We want to view this entire area as one market, and combine resources in order to be stronger when staffing the projects we give priority," says the manager of the new district, Per-Inge Heen.

District Follo/Østfold will have 125 employees with 51 officials and 74 craftsmen. The 2015 budget is NOK 650 million excluding VAT, primarily from building ­projects, but also from some construction projects. "We currently have production across the whole district, and that is also our aim going forward," Heen concludes.

Projects that have recently started or that are ready to go ahead:

The Seterbråten housing project for Boligbygg Oslo KF (Oslo municipality) with 44 flats. The value of the contract is NOK 73 million excluding VAT. Starting immediately, to be completed in December 2015.

Four blocks of flats with a total of 63 units in Oppegård municipality for Selvaag Bolig Kornmoenga AS. The value of the ­contract is NOK 119 million excluding VAT. Starting in the winter of 2015, and the first block will be handed over in November 2016.

Ås block 1, stage 2 for Veidekke Eiendom/Urbanium in Ås centre. 31 flats with a contract for NOK 54 million excluding VAT. Starting in November 2014, to be completed in December 2015.

Two commercial buildings for Drøbak Næringspark AS at a total value of NOK 36 million excluding VAT. These are for Byggmax and Biltema. Starting immediately and to be completed in the course 2015.

The Nordre Finstad Gård housing project for Bee AS, 11 flats in Ski municipality. The value of the contract is NOK 28 million excluding VAT. Building started in October and will be completed in August 2015.

Sogsti Panorama, block of flats with 6 units in Drøbak for Sogsti Panorama AS. The value of the contract is NOK 21 million excluding VAT. The project is well under way, and will be handed over in April 2015.
