Duisburg, GERMANY - On September 1, 22 apprentices started their vocational training at Venator's Duisburg facility bringing the total number of apprentices on the site to 77.

The latest intake includes; 12 chemists, six mechatronics, two chemical engineers and two technicians. The new recruits will take part in an induction course in Frankfurt where they will learn about the Venator business and take part in training on topics such as safety, teamwork, and problem solving.

Michael Vössing, Director of Venator's Duisburg facility, said: 'We are delighted to welcome the new intake of apprentices as they are a critical part of our future. Offering young people an opportunity to build skills and create a career is something we take very seriously. We offer quality training delivered by expert trainers in our modern training area, all of which is needed to create the specialists of tomorrow. We wish all of our new apprentices the very best of luck as they start their journey in the work-place with us.'
