Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR) (“Ventas” or the “Company”) said today it has appointed Edmund M. Brady III to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately. In his new position, he will be a member of Ventas’s senior leadership team and will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Debra A. Cafaro.

Brady joined Ventas from EMB3 Advisory Services LLC, where he was president of the human capital-focused management consulting practice that provided strategic advice to companies in multiple areas, including mergers and acquisitions due diligence, talent assessment and acquisition and resource planning. Prior to that, he was managing director and chief people officer for Stroz Friedberg, LLC, a privately held investigations, intelligence and risk management firm with approximately 300 employees. From 1995 to 2010, Brady worked for Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, Inc., a publicly traded global consulting firm, where he most recently served as partner and chief people officer and a member of the firm’s leadership committee, responsible for overseeing all global human resources functions for the firm’s more than 700 people. Brady received a BS in Business Administration from Georgetown University and an MBA in marketing and international business from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
