The Euronext Low Carbon 100 Europe® brings together the 100 European listed companies that contribute the most to the low carbon transition. The rating assigned to Veolia enabled it to join the index in 2016.


The Euronext Low Carbon 100 Europe® index refers to the 100 largest European companies with the lowest CO emissions in the sectors to which they belong. It is based on an in-depth assessment of the carbon footprint of each company and the products and services they sell.The rating assigned to Veolia in 2016 takes into account the rating attributed to it by CDP, its efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, and its investments in research and development aimed at reducing its CO emissions.
