The award program, presented by American Security Today, honors the most valuable technologies for the government and homeland security markets, and recognizes law enforcement and security teams dedicated to keeping the nation safe.

Designed to help stakeholders achieve enhanced visibility into employee personal safety, the Verint Mobile Reporter application enables employees to immediately alert security to potential issues or threats via their mobile device, regardless of their location. The application sends location-based data and critical updates to command centers in a wide variety of formats, such as a simple SOS alert, text message, detailed report form, photo and live audio/video.

With Verint Mobile Reporter, command center operators also can leverage Verint Dispatch Manager™ to gain a comprehensive view of employees, their locations and their current status. The solution initiates active or passive tracking of individuals, with active tracking that helps monitor the location of a person (regardless of whether Mobile Reporter is actively open on the device) and passive tracking that occurs upon initiation of an SOS signal. As command centers receive data regarding an incident near an individual’s known location, operators can send safety alerts directly to that employee’s device. Likewise, dispatchers can establish bi-directional communication via chat, SMS and phone call with the device and further determine the best resources to deploy to support the situation.

When combined with Verint Situational Awareness Platform™, organizations can leverage personal safety information from these solutions to build a more comprehensive view of organizational risk. Command centers also can benefit from real-time insight to help mitigate potential security situations.
