Vestas Wind : wins 115 MW order in Sweden

Vestas receives order for 32 V136-3.45 MW wind turbines delivered in 3.6 MW Power Optimised Mode. With the order, Vestas has received more than 400 MW of orders for the V136-3.45 MW in Sweden.

The firm and unconditional order is Vestas' second large order for V136-3.45 MW turbines in Sweden in just one day, highlighting the strong market fit of the turbine in the Swedish low wind market. With orders for more than 400 MW to date, Sweden has become the largest market for the V136-3.45 MW globally since its launch.

Svartnäs wind park, located in Dalarna County in central Sweden, has been developed by long-term Vestas customer Arise with BlackRock as the final project owner and investor.

The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) full scope operations and maintenance service agreement. Delivery of the first turbines is planned for the third quarter of 2018, while commissioning is expected in the fourth quarter of 2018.
