Vestas Wind A/S : wins first V126-3.45 MW order in South Korea

Vestas has received a 21 MW order from new customer Serveone Co. Ltd., making South Korea the 18th market with V126-3.45 MW firm order intake.

The firm and unconditional order comprises six V126-3.45 MW turbines and is Serveone Co, Ltd.'s first wind power plant. Located on Jaeun Island in South Korea's Jeonnam province, the project will also be the first project in South Korea featuring V126-3.45 MW turbines. The order highlights how Vestas' global reach and flexible manufacturing setup ensure competitive product offering across the globe.

The order includes supply and supervision of installation as well asa 10-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM4000) service contractin which Vestas guarantees a defined high level of availability and performance. It also includesthe SCADA VestasOnline Business system for data-driven monitoring and preventive maintenance.Delivery is expected to start by the end of 2017.
