Heart of the South arrives 22 March

Western Australian shoppers will be thrilled to hear that the exciting final chapter of the Mandurah Forum $350 million dollar redevelopment is coming soon with the grand opening scheduled for Thursday 22 March at 8am.
Delivering the total fashion experience, the new Mandurah Forum will be anchored by a brand new David Jones and H&M in the fashion mall along with other sought after retailers such as Seed, Bonds, Lovisa, Bardot,
Cotton On, Peter Alexander and recently announced Mecca Maxima.

Centre Manager Jacqueline McKenzie said the centre, which has nearly doubled in size, will provide the Peel Region with a fashion destination like never before. 'I am very excited to announce the day we bring this vibrant new shopping destination and community hub to the region,' Ms McKenzie said.

'I am grateful for the community's patience and excitement throughout the redevelopment, and I can't wait to show them the completely transformed centre - I think they will agree it has been well worth the wait.'

Other fashion retailers confirmed for the grand opening include Cotton On Kids, Cotton On Body, Sunglass Hut, Portmans, Forever New, Bras n Things, Tarocash, Supre, Jacqui E, Honey Birdette, Sportsgirl, Oakley Vault, Just Jeans, Universal Store, Jeanswest, Sussan, TS14+, Gazman, Naturalizer and Decjuba. Footwear retailers such as Wittner, Sketchers, Platypus Shoes and Footlocker will also open in the fashion mall on grand opening day.

Vicinity Centres Executive General Manager of Development Carolyn Viney said the centre launch day represents an exciting time for Mandurah Forum.

'As the new Heart of the South, I am excited to share this day with our eager community.'

'The $350 million dollar redevelopment shows our commitment to bringing a unique fashion destination, indoor and outdoor dining precincts and customer experience to the Peel region and its community,' Ms Viney said.

Parents will be excited to know grand opening celebrations will also cater to the youngest members of the family, with Mandurah Forum announcing the popular Paw Patrol characters will visit the centre daily from 22 March to 2 April.

Ryder will bring his heroic rescue dogs Marshall and Chase to perform live stage shows in the centre, along with having 'meet & greets' with their fans from 22 March to 26 March, and host a craft activity centre from 27 March to 2 April.

The revamped centre will also pride itself on new and improved amenities, such as new parent rooms and state of the art parking facilities, holding over 2,800 shaded car bays with Park Assist technology to make parking as convenient as possible.

More details about launch weekend activities for the whole family, as well as retailer announcements will follow in the weeks leading up to 22 March.
