Retirement of Non-executive Director Richard Haddock AM

Mr Peter Hay, Chairman of Vicinity Centres (Vicinity, ASX:VCX), today announced that Mr Richard Haddock AM would retire as a Non-executive Director of Vicinity, effective from 30 April 2017.

Mr Haddock was appointed to Vicinity's Board (comprising Vicinity Limited and Vicinity Centres RE Ltd as responsible entity of Vicinity Centres Trust) in June 2015 upon completion of the merger between Federation Centres and Novion Property Group (the Merger). Mr Haddock was previously Chairman of Novion Property Group and its predecessor, CFS Retail Property Trust Group (CFX), from January 2009 until June 2015.

Mr Haddock is a member of Vicinity's Audit Committee and Risk and Compliance Committee and a Director of Vicinity Funds Re Ltd. He will retire from each of these roles in April 2017.

Mr Hay expressed his gratitude to Mr Haddock for his significant contribution to the Board.

Mr Hay said: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Richard for his stewardship of Novion Property Group, for his commitment and contribution to Vicinity and for his ongoing support. I would particularly like to note Richard's efforts as Chairman during the period of the internalisation of CFX, a major corporate restructure which completed in March 2014 and without which the Merger would not have been possible.

"The retirement of Richard supports the Board's commitment to reduce in size, as foreshadowed at the 2016 Annual General Meeting."
