MERCO (Business Monitor of Corporate Reputation) is a
reputational evaluation instrument executed by the
Spanish consultants Villafañe y Asociados. It has
become one of the most important surveys in the
world and is the most complete methodology applied in
Chile. The survey measures the economic results,
marketing quality, internal reputation, ethics,
corporate responsibility, capacity for
internationalization, innovation and quality of
products and services.
The survey uses a methodology that not only measures
impressions or corporate images that consumers may
have of a sector but also makes an exhaustive analysis
that includes valuations by the most
important stakeholders, which has made it an
outstanding monitor at the global level due to its
methodological rigor and independence.
