Merco (Monitor of Corporate Reputations) is a reputational evaluation instrument functioning since 2000, and has become one of the most important benchmark monitors in the world, using the most complete methodology applied in Chile (it is the only one that is verified externally by KPMG under the ISAE3000 standard).

It currently operates in Spain, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Ecuador, and it will also be in Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Bolivia and Germany between 2011 and 2012.

Viña Concha y Toro was placed 13th this year in the general table, advancing 6 positions with respect to the previous year. In the ranking of consumers, whose evaluation committee comprised members of consumer associations, Concha y Toro was give third place.

The survey made by the Spanish consultants Villafañe y Asociados uses a methodology that not only measures impressions or corporate images that consumers might have of a sector but makes an exhaustive analysis that includes the valuations of the most important stakeholders, which has made it an outstanding monitor in the world for its methodological rigor and independence.

In the category "Leaders with the best reputation" the chief executive of Concha y Toro, Eduardo Guilisasti was placed 17th, which improved his position over last year by two places.
