Concha y Toro surprises with a sharp rise in the ranking of
the most respected companies in Chile
The winery advanced 3 places with respect to 2011,
particularly for its performance in internationalization,
integrity and transparency and its ability to meet the
needs of its consumers.
The advance of Viña Concha y Toro to 4th place in the 'The
Most Respected Companies" survey, prepared annually by the
newspaper La Segunda and Adimark GFK, is considered
meteoric. This is surprising when considering that it was
not even mentioned in the survey in 2004, in 2005 it was
placed 46th and last year rose to 7th place. It has thus
become the first winery to achieve such an outstanding
position, leading the ranking in the industry sector.
This survey has been made for 17 years now, thus allowing
us to see the changes in positions over time of the
country's largest companies, providing every year the
list of the best-positioned companies in areas such as
seriousness and solvency, integrity and transparency,
leadership and internationalization, innovative capacity,
good working environment, etc. The list is one of the most
important surveys in Chile and one of the most prestigious
indicators of corporate reputations, whose results are
obtained through a quantitative study (self-managed
surveys) made by the principal Chilean executives and
businessmen.
Among the best-evaluated aspects this year is the winery's
4th position in leadership in the internationalization of
Chilean investments, 3rd place for its ability to meet the
requirements of its consumers and 2nd place in integrity
and transparency.
