history of good financial performance, being leaders or
benchmarks in the market in which they operate, having
reached at least a second generation in the ownership or
management of businesses, being a family respected by the
business community in which it operates, both for the
success of the businesses and the principles and values
they inspire, and having established and maintained an
effective corporate governance.
This year, the jury comprising well-known businessmen,
business leaders and academics decided unanimously to grant
this prize to the Guilisasti family, with a long business
history inChile. Mainly linked to the wine industry through
the Viña Concha y Toro and Emiliana wineries, it also

scholarships), and Emiliana, an organic winery that has
shown a strong commitment with its community with organic
and sustainable agriculture. Greenvic has also entered into
different partnerships for strongly promoting the company's
social commitment.
The prize-giving ceremony was held in the Aula Magna of the
ESE, in the presence of the Guilisasti family, authorities
of the Universidad de losAndesand the country's leading
businessmen and executives and also those of the companies
linked to the family.
"A top-level and representative jury meets several times to
nominate the candidates and select the family that best
meets the demanding list of criteria, not only in
successful business terms but also in its responsibility
with its employees, shareholders, consumers and customers,
and with society and the country in general. You are an
example of good practices and it is very important that
these are disseminated and known to thousands of family
businesses in our country", said Mauricio Larraín, director
