Fourth victory! Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 9h 11mn and 46s, Jean-Pierre Dick and Yann Eliès crossed the finish line of the 13 edition of the Transat Jacques Vabre in first position in the Imoca category. It took the duo 13 days 7 hours 36 minutes and 46 seconds to cover 4,652 miles at 14.55 knots. After crossing the starting line at Le Havre in the lead, SMichel-Virbac has led the race almost from start to finish.

At the age of 52, Jean-Pierre Dick turns a page of his offshore sailor's life in the most beautiful way: by winning his fourth victory on this race, a first in the history of the 'Coffee Route'. In 2001, after a victory on the 'Tour de France à la voile', he was launching the bet to run the oceans of the world. 16 years later, he leaves in his wake 6 major victories on the Imoca circuit and a title of sailor of the year.
