Virgin Media Inc. : Joey Essex embraces ‘reem’ kissing challenge with Virgin Media

12/04/2012 | 06:23am US/Eastern

TOWIE star puckers up to celebrate launch of unlimited Pay-As-You-Go tariffs

The Only way is Essex (TOWIE) heart-throb, Joey Essex, puckered up under the mistletoe with hoards of love-struck fans, when he took part in a 'reem' unlimited kissing challenge, at the Virgin Media store in the Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex.

The 'pucker' event, organised by Virgin Media to celebrate the launch of its new, 'totes amaze' unlimited Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) tariffs, and the new ZTE Kis white handset, saw Joey receive 118 kiss-mass smackers on his cheeks in one minute, as part of a festive kissing extravaganza.

Cheeky chappy Joey Essex said, "Taking part in the kissing challenge with Virgin Media was totally 'reem' and all the other boys on TOWIE were well jel when I told them about it, especially the single ones! I don't think I have ever been kissed by so many girls in one day before. It's definitely a personal record."

Jamie Heywood, director of mobile at Virgin Media said, "Joey totally embraced our unlimited kissing challenge and got completely stuck in. He wasn't overwhelmed by the huge queue of girls waiting to greet him. The kissing challenge was the perfect way to celebrate the launch of our new unlimited Pay-As-You-Go tariffs and the new white ZTE Kis handset, and we were delighted with the turn out. We would like to thank Joey and his fans for being such great sports."

Virgin Media's new Big Data and Texts tariff starts at £10, providing unlimited data and 300 texts, while for just £15 customers will also benefit from unlimited texts. The Big Talk tariff starts at £10 with unlimited calls to any landline plus 120 anytime mobile minutes, while adding an additional £5 will also provide unlimited texts. Both tariffs allow customers to use their credit towards additional airtime out of their chosen plan.

Everyone enjoys a kiss at Christmas and now available exclusively to Virgin Media PAYG customers is the ZTE Kis in white. This new handset is more stylish than ever packed with incredible features including a 3.5 inch touch screen, a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and a 2GB micro SD card so it's the perfect device to capture and share all those favourite festive moments this year with friends and family.
