'Vitaminka' has obtained the Certificate for Halal standard implementation. This certificate which is issued by the Halal Standard Agency in Macedonia within IVZ, allows companies to enter the foreign markets which are dependеnt on and included in the Halal system. By obtaining this certificate 'Vitaminka' has a possibility to export on a 1.8 billion people market, or valued at 2.3 billion dollars. In Europе only, the Halal market amounts to 70 billion dollars and in our region 2 billion.

'Halal standard implementation in 'Vitaminka' is of great significance for our company improvement, which will enable us to be present and competitive on world markets where we were absent before. Also, this increases consumers' confidence and underlines our corporative objective, to always strive for producing food products according to food awareness and food safety standards', says the Technical Manager Lidija Karanfiloska.

HALAL is an Arabic term meaning 'permissible' for Muslims according to Sharia (religious) Law but for many this standard is a synonym for healthy food. Products labeled as produced according to Halal standards are quite sought after by both Muslim consumers and consumers from other religions. Halal standard implementation has been practiced by the biggest food companies on the world market for many years, and it eases the way for companies to direct their export on new and fast-growing markets, which is anticipated to exceed 6 billion dollars worldwide by 2020.
