Paris, November 16th 2015

Dear friends and colleagues,

The whole world is profoundly shocked and affected by the dramatic events that took place on Friday evening in Paris.

Vivendi is mourning five colleagues who worked for Universal Music France and Canal+ Group: Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser, Manu Perez, Mathieu Hoche and Grégory Fosse.

It is with deep sadness that we address our condolences to their families and relatives. We wish to extend to them our total support in these most painful and tragic moments.

We would also like to thank all of you who have expressed your sympathy to our colleagues in Paris over the weekend. We very much appreciate your messages.

Vivendi is a big family, proud of its ideals of cultural diversity and freedom of expression. We will continue to devote all our energy to promoting these values.

We know that you will all take the appropriate measures to pay tribute to the victims and their loved ones.

More than ever, let us demonstrate our sense of unity, show our solidarity and give the fullest sense to the Vivendi signature: 'Living Together'.

Kind regards,

Vincent Bolloré Hervé Philippe
