Vodafone Group plc : Vodafone Group Buys Back 8 Million Shares/185P-182.45P

LONDON--Vodafone Group PLC (VOD.LN) said Tuesday that on July 16 it purchased 8 million of its ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange via UBS Ltd. at prices between 185 pence and 182.45 pence, which will be held in treasury.
MAIN FACTS:
-Since June 20, 2011, Vodafone has purchased 2.24 billion shares at 3.83 billion pounds.
-Shares at 0740 GMT up 0.14% at 184 pence valuing the company at GBP90.31 billion.
