Volt Information Sciences, Inc. (NYSE-MKT: VISI), an international provider of staffing services, managed service programs, technology outsourcing services, and information technology infrastructure services, announced today that it will join a number of Russell Indexes when Russell Investments reconstitutes its indexes on June 26. According to a preliminary list of additions posted June 12, 2015 on Russell's website, Volt will be added to the Russell Global Index, the Russell 3000 Index and the Russell Microcap Index.

The annual Russell Indexes reconstitution captures the 4,000 largest U.S. stocks as of the end of May, ranking them by total market capitalization. Russell determines membership for its Russell Indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.

Ron Kochman, Volt Information Sciences’ CEO, commented, “Inclusion in the Russell Indexes is an important milestone for us and will help raise our visibility within the financial community as we continue to focus on expanding margins in our Staffing operations and exiting non-core businesses."

Russell Indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for active investment strategies. Approximately $5.7 trillion in assets are benchmarked to the Russell U.S. Indexes. Russell indexes are part of FTSE Russell, a leading global index provider.
