WHIreland has officially launched its new WHIreland International Wealth brand for its Isle of Man subsidiary operation.

The move underlines the international focus of the Isle of Man business and distinguishes it from the WHIreland Wealth Management division in the UK.

Currently based on Athol Street in Douglas, WHIreland International Wealth is led by Managing Director Will Corrin. Commenting on the launch of the new brand, he said:

'The history and heritage of the WHIreland name is clearly an essential part of our identity and one that provides our clients with the peace of mind and security of dealing with a successful, long-established business.

'The change of brand to WHIreland International Wealth more clearly signposts that we operate in different markets to our parent Group and attract a different type of client who may have quite distinct and often more complex wealth management needs.

'We are still very much aligned to the investment philosophy of the WHIreland Group while committed to developing complementary new products and services that are more closely attuned to the needs of our local Isle of Man and international clients.'

WHIreland International Wealth has a strategy to become the largest wealth manager on the Isle of Man within the next five years and is currently on a recruitment drive for further investment professionals to be part of that journey. A move to larger premises is expected later in the year to support its growth strategy.

The launch of the new brand will be celebrated at a special preview of a new exhibition, supported by WHIreland International Wealth, in conjunction with Manx National Heritage, at the Manx Museum in October. Manx Tholtans will feature the work of Manx photographer Ray Kelly and multi-media artist Niamh Kelly and explores the beauty of these fascinating abandoned buildings found around the Isle of Man.

Will Corrin added: 'It's important for all of the team at WHIreland International Wealth to play a part in the community where we live and work. Under the International branding we have an opportunity to focus our corporate social responsibility activity on projects that benefit Manx society and celebrate Manx heritage and culture.

'We are delighted to be able to support Manx National Heritage and their Manx Tholtans exhibition which explores the beauty of these buildings through the eyes of Ray and Niamh Kelly. I am confident the exhibition will be a thought-provoking glimpse into the Island's rural history.'

Manx Tholtans will run from 7 October 2017 to 27 January 2018 and will be open during usual Manx Museum hours.
