Ivy Global Investors today launched three new funds, broadening the lineup of options available to non-U.S. investors.

Ivy Global Investors Science and Technology Fund, Ivy Global Investors US Large Cap Growth Fund and Ivy Global Investors US Mid Cap Growth Fund join two existing funds in the Ivy Global Investors family, bringing the total number of Ivy Global Investors investment options to five. All are sub-funds of Selector Management Fund SICAV, an umbrella UCITS fund range domiciled in Luxembourg. The UCITS funds are distributed globally by Ivy Funds Distributor, Inc., DBA Ivy Global Investors, and managed by Ivy Investment Management Company.

  • Ivy Global Investors Science and Technology Fund: A multi-cap strategy that seeks out structural growth potential with a broad purview across securities from three market segments: science, technology and applied science and technology.
  • Ivy Global Investors US Large Cap Growth Fund: Invests in large-capitalization U.S. companies (those with above $10 billion in market capitalization) that management believes exhibit sustainable growth and a distinct competitive advantage.
  • Ivy Global Investors US Mid Cap Growth Fund: Invests in mid-capitalization U.S. companies (market capitalization in the range of companies in the Russell Midcap Growth Index) that management believes exhibit profitable business models, sound capital structures and a history of rising cash flows.

The two existing sub-funds of the SICAV, Ivy Global Investors Asset Strategy Fund and Ivy Global Investors High Income Fund, had combined assets under management of approximately $247 million at June 30, 2014. All of the Ivy Global Investors funds mirror investment strategies that have been marketed successfully in the United States by Ivy Funds Distributor, Inc.

Risk Factors: The value of the Fund’s shares will change, and Shareholders could lose their money on their investment. The Fund is not intended as a complete investment program. A variety of factors can affect the investment performance of the Fund and prevent it from achieving its objective. Particularly, investing in equities means participating in the business of a company. As a Shareholder, he/she provides a capital that is used to finance the activity of the company. The investor will then profit from the performance of the company. Nevertheless, stock markets are subject to unpredictable fluctuations, which can lead to long-term depreciations. Many U.S. companies have diverse operations, with products or services in non-U.S. markets. Therefore, a Fund may have an indirect exposure to non-U.S. markets through investments in these companies. Investing in companies involved primarily in a single asset class may be more risky and volatile than an investment with greater diversification. Investing in mid-cap stocks may carry more risk than investing in stocks of larger more well-established companies. Investing in companies involved in one specified sector may be more risky and volatile than an investment with greater diversification.

Ivy Global Investors sub-funds are offered solely to certain non-U.S. investors and, under limited circumstances, in transactions exempt from the registration requirements of the Securities Act, in reliance upon Regulation S and other applicable laws, under the terms and conditions of the SICAV’s current prospectus. Investors should consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses carefully before investing. The prospectus and applicable Key Investor Information Documents (KIIDs) contain important information about the SICAV’s sub-funds and should be read carefully before investing. Copies of these documents for the sub-funds may be obtained by contacting your financial advisor, or by visiting www.ivyglobalinvestors.com.
