Actavis and Warner Chilcott Receive Approval from Irish High Court For Pending Warner Chilcott Acquisition

PARSIPPANY, N.J. and DUBLIN, IRELAND - September 30, 2013 - Actavis, Inc. (NYSE: ACT) and Warner Chilcott plc (NASDAQ: WCRX) today announced that the Irish High Court has approved Actavis' pending acquisition of Warner Chilcott. The parties have now obtained all regulatory approvals required to complete the transaction. The closing remains subject to satisfaction of other customary closing conditions and is expected to occur as soon as practicable after satisfaction of those conditions.
