Webster Bank Names New Director of Procurement
WATERBURY, Conn., June 29, 2015 - Webster Bank announces that Monica McInerney joined the company today as senior vice president, director of procurement.
McInerney comes to Webster from Pitney Bowes, where she served as director - enterprise procurement since 2013. In this role, she managed a procurement budget of approximately $420 million and a team of eight employees, supporting all of the company's business units. Prior to Pitney Bowes, Monica enjoyed a 17-year career at PepsiCo, Inc., where she most recently held the title senior director, global procurement.
McInerney believes strongly in giving back to the communities she serves. She was a founding member of the Resiliency Center of Newtown and served as an officer and secretary of the board of the Brookfield Lacrosse Club, Inc. She is a resident of Brookfield, Conn., and a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
