Newly Promoted Webster Banker Named "40 Under 40"
HARTFORD, Conn., July 21, 2014 - Webster Bank announced today that Adam McLaughlin, who was recently promoted to senior vice president (SVP), commercial banking, has received the "40
Under 40 Award" from the Hartford Business Journal .
McLaughlin joined Webster in 2002 and has quickly risen in the ranks from portfolio manager to vice president, relationship manager, and now to SVP.
Originally from East Hartford, Conn., McLaughlin currently resides in South Windsor. He earned his bachelor's degree from Springfield College and his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. Living up to the communities he serves, McLaughlin is the treasurer of Leadership Greater Hartford (LGH), serving on the board since 2008. He is also currently vice chair of Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (HYPE) Ambassador Committee, where he has been involved for the past seven years. He also serves on the Buddy Bash Committee for Hartford's Camp Courant, Webster's 2014 United Way Leadership Board, and the Manchester Evening of Fine Wines committee.
McLaughlin is no stranger to honors and awards. He is the 2011 recipient of Connecticut Magazine's
40 Under 40; the 2011 recipient of the Chairman's Award for the Webster Employee Campaign for
the United Way, and a 2007 graduate of LGH's Quest Program.
