Webster Private Bank Sponsors Fairfield 500 Pinewood Derby
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn., September 18, 2015 - Fun, creativity, and the thrill of racing will be front and center as businesses and individuals compete in the Fairfield 500 Pinewood Derby. This is the first annual "Race for Scouting." Trophies will be awarded for safest driver, best overall design, and best dressed pit crew as teams also compete for the fastest race car in Fairfield County, Conn. Proceeds from this event support character, citizenship, and leadership development programs of the Connecticut Yankee Council, serving more than 12,000 young people and 4,200 adult volunteers throughout southwestern Connecticut.
