Two New Senior Vice Presidents Hired at Webster Bank
WATERBURY, Conn., January 15, 2014 - Webster Bank, a leading regional bank serving businesses and consumers from metro New York to Boston, Mass., today announced two new senior vice presidents: David Hadd joined Webster as senior vice president, director of continuous improvement; and David Verrone
joined the bank as senior vice president, treasury and payment solutions.
Hadd most recently served as vice president, head of global service engineering and transformation at American Express in New York, N.Y. A Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Hadd also previously served as vice president at the Strategic Initiatives and Technology Execution Performance Center at The Hartford Financial Services Group in Hartford, Conn.; as senior vice president, Americas operations strategy architecture and change at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group in Providence, R.I.; and as director of medical management and technology at CIGNA Corp. in Bloomfield, Conn.
A resident of Avon, Conn., Hadd earned his bachelor's degree at Michigan State University and received executive leadership certification from Babson College. He is committed to the community, serving on the Simsbury United Methodist Church Men's Committee and previously serving on the March of Dimes Ride Committee.
David Verrone most recently worked at Citizens Bank in Dedham, Mass., where he served as commercial marketing manager developing new customer acquisition and portfolio management initiatives. Prior to that, he worked at Sovereign Bank in Boston and Providence for 10 years in a wide variety of positions of increasing responsibility.
A resident of Mendon, Mass., Verrone earned his bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and his MBA from Bentley College. He volunteers at the Boston Food Bank; serves on the board of directors for Nipmuc Youth Football, as well as coaches and is the league treasurer; and is a member of the board of directors, coach, and communications director for Mendon Junior Baseball.
