Wellesley Bancorp, Inc. is the holding company for Wellesley Bank (the Bank). The Bank operates as a community-oriented financial institution offering traditional financial services to consumers and businesses. It attracts deposits from the general public and uses those funds to originate residential mortgage loans, commercial real estate loans and construction loans, and, to a lesser extent, commercial business loans, home equity lines of credit and other consumer loans. It offers a range of deposits, which include noninterest-bearing demand deposits, such as checking accounts; interest-bearing demand accounts, such as such as negotiable order of withdrawal (NOW) and money market accounts; savings accounts, and certificates of deposit.
