Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) said today the company will donate $50,000 to the American Red Cross of Napa County for relief efforts to support those impacted by the 6.0-magnitude South Napa Earthquake. Additionally, from August 28 through September 11, Wells Fargo customers can donate to the Red Cross at 1,701 Wells Fargo ATMs throughout Northern and Central California. Customers will not be charged a fee for using this service and 100 percent of the donations will be sent to the Red Cross.

“We know that many families are dealing with challenging circumstances due to the damage caused by the earthquake in the North Bay,” said Greg Morgan, EVP and president of the North Bay market for Wells Fargo. “As the Bay Area’s hometown community bank since 1852, Wells Fargo is glad to provide $50,000 to fund relief and recovery efforts. We also wish a full recovery for everyone who was impacted.”

Customers impacted by the South Napa Earthquake may discuss their financial options by contacting Wells Fargo 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557). Customers can also visit their nearest Wells Fargo store, with the exception of the store in downtown Napa located at 901 Main Street. All other retail banking stores in the North Bay remain open and all ATMs in the area are in operation.
