Wells Fargo To Buy $11 Billion Energy Loan Portfolio From BNP Paribas -FT

Wells Fargo & Co. (>> Wells Fargo & Company) will acquire an energy-loan portfolio from BNP Paribas SA (>> BNP PARIBAS), the Financial Times reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The deal is set to be announced Tuesday, according to the report. The portfolio has a face value of $11 billion.
BNP and Wells Fargo declined to comment to the newspaper.
