Constantia Flexibles, one of the world's leading flexible packaging companies, announces that it will implement a new organizational structure to drive profitable long-term growth. The new structure and resulting managerial changes follows the company's recent sale of its Labels division and the decision to expand its Food and Pharma businesses.

Effective January 1, 2018, Constantia Flexibles will have two divisions - Food and Pharma - headed by the Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs) Stefan Grote and Pierre-Henri Bruchon respectively. As part of the reorganization, the regional management offices in Houston, USA, and Dubai will be closed and the Executive Vice President for Food North America, Stefan Bogoll, and Executive Vice President for Food Emerging Markets, Friedrich Humer, will step down from their positions.

'On behalf of the whole of the company, I would to like to thank Stefan and Fritz for their outstanding contributions in their respective roles. They have shaped the company's global growth story, improved operational performance and acted as exemplary leaders for their dynamic teams. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors,' said CEO Alexander Baumgartner. 'Our new and lean divisional structure will increase flexibility, reduce complexity, lower costs, and speed up decision-making processes, which ultimately benefits all our customers worldwide. We now have a strong platform to move forward with our ambitious growth plans and shape the ongoing consolidation of the flexible packaging industry'.

The future Executive Committee will consist of CEO Alexander Baumgartner, CFO Stephan Kühne, the two divisional EVPs Stefan Grote and Pierre-Henri Bruchon, Executive Director for Human Resources, Michael Müller, as well as Senior Vice President Operations, Thomas Eck. In his new role, Eck will develop Constantia Flexibles' manufacturing and technology strategy and implement a strong operational performance culture. He will also be responsible for Sustainability, Health & Safety, Quality, Technology and Research & Development.
