The New Identity for Niccolo and Marco Polo Hotels

8 June 2017 (Hong Kong): The Wharf Hotels brand is officially established along with a new logo today which will bring the two hotel brands namely Niccolo and Marco Polo Hotels under one management group. This marks an exciting new chapter for the Group's development in hotel business.

Headquartered in Hong Kong, and a subsidiary of The Wharf (Holdings) Limited, Wharf Hotels oversees the Group's hotel development and management in the Asia Pacific region. It currently manages 14 hotels in China, Hong Kong and the Philippines under the iconic legacy brand of Marco Polo Hotels and the new luxury brand, Niccolo Hotels. Another four Niccolo Hotels, including The Murray in Hong Kong, are currently under development, which will bring the portfolio to 18 hotels in the near future. Located on Cotton Tree Drive in Central, The Murray is progressing well as planned and poised to become the 'diamond' of Hong Kong after its opening in late 2017.

In line with the hotel group's vision to expand its hotel footprint in Asia Pacific, the new name allows for differentiated and defined strategies to be developed for both brands. The naming convention for Niccolo and Marco Polo operating hotels will remain unchanged.
