PT WIJAYA KARYA (PERSERO) TBK PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) won two awards in awarding night of Social Business Innovation Award 2015 & Green CEO Award 2015, Tuesday (25/8) at Le Meridien Hotel, Jakarta. In the event,WIKA Achieved the Best Social Business Innovation Company 2015 in Building ConstructionCategory and The Best Green CEO in 2015.
President Director of WIKA Bintang Perbowoachieved The Best Green CEO in 2015 for his dedication and commitment to run businesses based on Green Company. CEO's WIKA is judged to have a high commitment in implementing the concept of "green" into the company's business processes to establish the principles of "green" in the company's strategy.
The appreciation provision aims to encourage the role of the corporation towards environmental improvements (sustainable) and to improve the quality of life of the surrounding community. The awarding night is part of a long series research of Social Business Innovation and Green CEO by Warta Ekonomi Unit (WEIU). The research was conducted through the screening on companies which operating in Indonesia and have corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs as well as CSR innovationin every year. In addition, the companies also comply to government regulation related to environment.
