Following Elise Christie's tumble in the 500m speed skate final on Monday, William Hill have opened a market on how many golds/medals she scoops with two events still left to compete in.

Unfortunately, she is odds on at 1/4 to win no golds, 11/4 to win one and 25/1 to grab one, while she is 3/1 to finish in the top three in either of the two remaining competitions.

'By her own admission, the 500m was her strongest discipline and she faces an uphill battle to try and come back to Blighty with a gold medal, however, there is a very real possibility that she could bag a couple of medals of any colour,' said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
