Liverpool's odds of winning the Champions League have been cut from 3/1 at William Hill to 9/4 which makes them joint second favourites to win the competition alongside Bayern Munich and behind 2/1 favourites Real Madrid. Roma are 8/1 outsiders.

Liverpool are also 1/3 to qualify for the final.

'Liverpool got the draw that they were perhaps hoping for and as a result, their price has contracted to 9/4 making the top three in the betting incredibly close,' said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. 'At this moment in time, it is almost impossible to predict who will win the Champions League.'

UEFA Champions League winner: 2/1 Real Madrid; 9/4 Bayern Munich; 9/4 Liverpool; 8/1 Roma

To qualify:

1/3 Liverpool; 9/4 Roma

5/6 Real Madrid; 5/6 Bayern Munich
