The Williams Companies, Inc. (NYSE: WMB) (the “Company”) announced today that it has issued a notice of redemption (the “Notice of Redemption”) to holders of the Company’s 5.50 percent Junior Subordinated Convertible Debentures due 2033 (the “Debentures”), stating that the Company will redeem all $141,400 of the aggregate principal amount of the outstanding Debentures for cash on April 11, 2016 (the “Redemption Date”) at a redemption price equal to 100.00 percent of the principal amount of the Debentures. Accrued and unpaid Interest (including deferred interest) on the Debentures up to (but excluding) the Redemption Date will be paid on the Redemption Date.
