Wincanton Signs Three Year Distribution Deal With Sainsbury's

Distribution group Wincanton PLC (>> Wincanton plc) said Thursday it has signed a three year agreement with supermarket J Sainsbury (>> J Sainsbury plc) to provide warehousing and distribution services in London.
MAIN FACTS:
-No financial details disclosed
-The agreement will see Wincanton expand operational footprint with Sainsbury's to now include the Thameside Distribution Centre (DC) in South East London.
-Wincanton currently manages Sainsbury's distribution centre in Greenford, West London and, from the early part of 2013, will manage the logistics operation for most Sainsbury's Local stores across London.
-Wincanton shares at 0752 GMT, up a penny, or 0.01%, at 45.5 pence valuing the company at GBP55 million.
