Changes to the Board of Directors
Winmar Resources Limited (ASX: WFE, "Winmar") announces the following changes to its board of directors effective Friday 28 August 2015:
Non-executive Director, David Nolan has resigned from the board of Winmar
Resources Limited
Luke Humphreys, General Manager of Winmar, becomes Executive Director of
Winmar Resources Limited
The Board accepted David Nolan's resignation today and would like to acknowledge and
thank David for his contribution to the Company since joining the Board in 2013.
The Board is pleased to advise the appointment of Mr Luke Humphreys as Executive Director to the Board with immediate effect. Your Board believes that this appointment with ensure the continuity of experience and expertise at management level whilst conserving cash where possible.
Luke Humphreys is a Project Manager with over 10 years-experience in guiding projects across a wide range of industries from concept through to implementation. In the role of General Manager of Winmar, Luke has managed the progression of the Hamersley Iron Project into a mature exploration target. Luke successfully finalised negotiations with the Eastern Gumura people (WGAC) in November 2014, securing a Native Title Agreement with the WGAC and ensuring the granting of the Mining Lease 47/1450 over the Winmar Deposit. Under his stewardship, Winmar has increased its beneficial interest in the Hamersley Iron Project to a
70% share.
