Witan Pacific Investment : Correction - Compliance with Model Code

WITAN PACIFIC INVESTMENT TRUST PLC  (the 'Company')

This announcement replaces the previous release made on 7 April 2014 under RNS number 1523E.

The previous announcement stated, " the announcement of the half year results of the Company for the six months ended 31 July 2013 ". This should have read: " announcement of the annual results of the Company for the year ended 31 January 2014 ".

This is the only change to the previously released announcement. The correction is included in the full text of the announcement below.

Listing Rule 15.5.1 (4) - Transactions in a Close Period           

In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1 (4), the Directors of the Company confirm that they are satisfied that all inside information known to the Directors and the Company up to the date of this notice has been notified to a Regulated Information Service ('RIS') and that any further inside information leading up to the announcement of the annual results of the Company for the year ended 31 January 2014 will be notified to a RIS.

The Company is therefore exempt during the close period from the provisions of the Model Code in respect of dealings by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and purchases of its own securities.

If the Directors or the Company come into possession of any inside information during the Close Period, this will be notified to a RIS before any such transactions are undertaken.
