Wolters Kluwer Audit, Risk & Compliance announced today it has opened a new hosting center for its TeamMate audit management system in Sydney, Australia. The center will help meet growing demands for TeamCloud or the Software as a Service (SaaS) version of the TeamMate solution in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, plans are underway to open another hosting center in Toronto in 2015. These two new centers will join existing hosting facilities in Dallas and London to help meet an expanding global need for TeamCloud by auditors.

The TeamCloud solution allows audit departments of all sizes to access their audit programs, work papers, recommendations and other TeamMate data through the web. With full access to TeamMate customer support, TeamCloud allows auditors to manage their local and remote teams using the same flexible and stable environment, while lessening their IT burden of deploying software and developing the associated infrastructure.

“Our global customer base requires us to provide the resources and tools they need to work anytime and anywhere,” said Mike Gowell, senior vice president, TeamMate. “Adding the Sydney hosting center demonstrates our commitment to helping internal auditors from around the world build their businesses in an even more practical, efficient and cost-effective way.”

TeamMate is the world's most widely-used audit management system, with more than 95,000 auditors and over 2,200 organizations using the solution globally. The TeamMate audit management system helps improve an organization’s audit process including: risk assessment, scheduling, planning, execution, review, report generation, trend analysis, audit committee reporting and storage. By providing an integrated paperless strategy for managing audits, TeamMate's audit software eliminates the barriers associated with paper-filled binders and disconnected electronic files, driving efficiencies into all facets of the internal audit workflow.
