DISCLOSURE OF SIGNIFICANT HOLDING OF WOOLWORTHS HOLDINGS ORDINARY SHARES
In accordance with the provisions of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and Section 122(1)
of the Companies Act 71 of 2008, as amended ('the Companies Act') shareholders are advised
of the following:
On 16 November 2015 we announced that Lazard Asset Management´s ('Lazard') accounts
under management had increased its holding in the company to 5.35% of the total issued
shares. During the same month, Lazard disposed of a portion of its holding, which reduced its
shareholding to 4.92%. As the disposal was less than 1% of the total issued ordinary shares,
the reduction in shareholding was not required to be announced on the Stock Exchange News
Service in accordance with the Companies Act.
Shareholders are now advised that Lazard has once again increased its holding in the
company, such that it now holds 5.13% of the total issued shares in the company.
